Last Post In America

This post is the last post from America. Now, I feel just happy because I have enjoyed all the activities! I have collected very good and big memories! Talking and playing were very good for me. Mentors, friends and some other Americans that I met were very kind for me (also for us). To participate in this program, I realized again that how importance of communication is and how difficult of communication is. However, thank to this program, I got a little challenge power (maybe)! Also, I realized that I couldn’t speak and listen of English a little. However, this is good for me, because I can train of them!
So, I just want to say everybody and everything that ‘Thank you!!!’.

8th Post In America

On Tuesday, I was very tired because I walked a lot than usual I thought. However, there were a lot of funs in midnight. My friend had a big challenge. I can’t write here, but almost all of us know that. I wish he is going to do the things better! He is very activity. I think I should imitate him!

7th Post In America

In Monday, I went to Nikki’s house. That time I spend there was very interesting for me! In her house, I played basketball and billiard and enjoyed talking! I liked to play basketball very much. My friends are very good basketball players. To tell the truth, I didn’t think that Nikki could play basketball well (I thought she was so-so). But actually, she can play basketball very well! I was very surprised! I was glad to enjoy playing sports with my friends! Also I could enjoy talking with my friends! 5.6th Post In America

In Friday, I watched baseball game for the first time in my life! To tell the truth, I don’t like just watching. I liked to play actually! However, I was very interesting to watch! Fireworks were very beautiful (except sounds of them)!

5.8th Post In America

In Saturday, I went to National Air & Space Museum. But today, I also made a mistake. When I went to watch the movie of space, I (also almost all of us) felt asleep. I lost $8.50 to watch! After that, I played volleyball. I couldn’t play well, but it was very interesting for me!

6th Post In America

In Sunday, I went to some museums and then played volleyball and basketball. In this day, my most interesting point was playing sports! To tell the truth, I don’t like just watching…I liked to do anything activity! That was why I could enjoy playing sports. I liked to play basketball very much. However, I had the muscular pain. I acted very activity than usual!

5th Post In America

This day, after I went to NEWSEUM, I went to shopping and eating. I went with Mike. I ate ochazuke. That taste was not good for me. But this day’s dinner, I was very glad than usual! I could hear Mike’s ideas about girlfriends.. It was very interested for me! In addition, I could understand what Mike thinks about them. I have about the same thinking with Mike about them. I was very glad to know that!

4th Post In America

This day I went to the shopping. I bought chocolate to my family. I don’t like it, but my family like it. So I bought it. By the way, I made a big mistake… I had the empty bottle. I wanted to throw away it. When I walked, I found a trash box. I shot it in it! When I did that, Joe called me ‘Hey Yuya’. I shot it in the collection box (raise the money to be in trouble)! However for me, it was looked like a trash box! I made a big mistake!

3rd Post in America

This day, I talked with the American student! I tried to talk with them and wanted to communicate with them. However, when I talked by English, they often asked me ‘sorry?’, or their faces indicated me that they couldn’t understand what I was saying… Also, I couldn’t understand the meaning what they were saying because their talking speed was too high for me! After that time, I was very disappointed…. I couldn’t communicate by English. But I wanted to talk by English! I think that I can speak English fluently just by trying to talk! In afternoon, I tried to talk with other student of America. That was very successful for me because I could speak English that they could understand what I was saying! In addition, I ate sushi! Those tastes were very good for me! Those were like Japanese sushi without sushi roll. Sushi is the best for me to eat in the world food! This day was also a good day for me!

2nd Impact!

Yesterday, I went to Alexandria and Georgetown. To go to Georgetown from Alexandria, I took a boat from which I could see beautiful scenery! However, I was very interested in a baby. In the boat, I took a chance to meet him. He is so cute that I wanted to take him to Japan! He is very cute! He likes camera, when some of us took a picture, he laughed! When some of us shook hands, he imitated us! In the last time to leave the boat, I touched his head. I was very happy to meet him!

Hi, I’m Yuya Shinada. My major is international politics. The reason which I choose this summer program is that I want to get the experiences which make my life better. If I chose this summer program, I thought that this program would give me those kinds of experience. Although, I have to act more activity than usual to get those, there are a lot of occasions to get those in this program.
